As ironic as it may be i think christian music is just god awful lol. But seriously what else are the bands or singers supposed to talk about? Everything they sing is trying to be uplifting but the lack of originality or things to talk about. And im a raised catholic so i probably shouldnt hate this genre but i do. What about you guys

I'm atheist, but I still like a couple of Christian bands like August Burns Red and Flyleaf.

I'm not religious in general, so I'm not a fan of it's music. But, I don't hate it either.

Unless it is religious music (hymns etc) I don't like these upbeat versions, doesn't fit in my mind

I actually love quite a few Christian rock bands, being an atheist myself I thought it was pretty weird but they're some of my favourite bands. Skillet, Ashes Remain, RED you should listen to the lyrics because they're not all about god and whatever else you think, they're inspiring and uplifting and I don't know why that should be a bad thing. They sing about things that are actually happening in the world instead of making up a load of crap and singing about sex and drugs or whatever. You shouldn't dislike a whole group of bands/artists just because they consider themselves religious as a whole.

I actually love Christian music. Driving to work or home from school, that's what my radio is always on. It puts me in a better mood after a hard day.

I hate Christian bands.

I'll find this great song about a broken relationship or something and then I find out they're talking about God and I'm like fuck this shit, I'll never be able to listen to that song again.

It's just a real turn-off when a band promotes that they're Christian. Like, I listen to music that has Christian themes, but we're not talking about "I found god and now I have a happy life!" or "GOD IS GOOD. GOD IS GREAT. PRAISE THE LORD" cause that music should be used clinically for inducing vomit in a patient.
