Hi,urm I would just like different perspective on this. recently I have been going through stages of being really happy and then really depressed,so I was looking at the symptoms of bipolar and they seemed to fit so today I dis this questionnaire that looked quite professional and long story short it said if you got 25 there's a strong possibility you could have bipolar I got 48 .,,I may be getting myself more worried than I need to but if you have any advice it would be much appreciated

Bipolar disorder is a lot more then randomly switching moods. However, Depression and Bipolar go hand and hand. Bipolar disorder is now usually referred to as Manic Depression disorder because it causes stages of depression and stages of a manic behavior that causes carelessness and is described as a kind of high.
Basically, Manic Depressive people have a period of time, (usually 3-4 months) of sever depression, followed by a period of time of carefree craziness, over and over again.
You are most likely battling a form of depression, which is why it comes and goes like that.

It doesn't matter how professional a questionnaire looks, it's not a doctor, they can't diagnose you and neither can we, like Lou said it's more than likely depression in it's early days. The worst thing you can do is read symptoms and panic yourself, the best thing to do is see a professional before it really does get out of hand :)
