Okay, you can't ask me questions like that. Making me pick my favorite books is like making me pick my favorite kid.
Harry Potter. Always.
Divergent.
The Book Thief.
The Mortal Instruments.
The Hunger Games.
The Percy Jackson books.
The Lost Hero series.
Brave New World.
Shades of Grey.(Not to be confused with 50 shades of grey)
Matched trilogy.
Eragon series.
Ugh, I could go on but there you have it.

You only want three, which is a tough choice but my best bet would be:
Frank Schätzing’s Limit (1,300! pages)
Cory Doctorow's Little Brother and
Nikow Vladis'(Νίκος Βλαντής) Greek Psycho (Which I am afraid is not translated)

Harry Potter because it is great and I love the caracters
Frühlings Erwachen (Spring Awakening) a play by Frank Wedekind because youth with the problems, puberty and love are very si
milar in it themes. Even when this play is over a hundred years old.
Animal Farm, because "some are more equal than others"
But only three books is a hard desicion and I know Harry Potter is itself more than one book.

Due the fact I don't read, or never even finish a book, I'm only going to put the ones I did actually read fully.
Looking for Alaska - John Green
The Dead Tracks - Tim Weaver
Stormbreaker - Anthony Horowitz (there were sequels and shit too like I think it's called the Alex Rider series???)
I could say The Great Gatsby but that's cliché and boring to do.

#1 James Rollins Sigma series-Very good read, with lots of twists and science and religion rolled into one
#2 James Patterson Maximum Ride/When the Wind Blows- One of the first series i ever read, and maybe the best between these 2^
#3 Rick Riordan Percy Jackson series- Ive loved mythology and monsters from the beginning
#4 The Hunger Games- It would rank higher, but the last and second book disappointed me
#5 Bridge to Terabithia- I saw the movie, and it is my favorite! I bought the book and read it too, Really love the characters and emotion in it.
#6 Perks of being a Wallflower- Im finally glad to see a well written book about what goes on and how most teens feel.
Most of these are in my personal Library lol

Harry Potter - this is the only category I can put Harry Potter. They are certainly not the best written books, Rowling is not the best author. But favourite books? Yes. I was born in 1992. While the books were written a half a decade out of sync with my age, the movies came out as such: PS - age 9, CoS - age 10, PoA - age 12, GoF - age 13, OotP - age 15, HBP - age 17, DH1 - age 18, DH2 - age 19. I pretty much grew up alongside Harry, and I'm so thankful that I get to be part of this generation. My childhood would have been completely different without it.
Looking for Alaska - John Green
American Gods - Neil Gaiman
That wasn't me listing the authors, that was me listing the reasons why the books make my top three. Like... John Green and Neil Gaiman.

Ashfall trilogy by Mike Mullin
The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks
