Get rid of close female friend for gf?

yea like the title, is this justified? i must admit, i am quite close with the female friend since we share a lot of similarities and i know her before my gf. but now, gf is extremely jealous and disappointed that i 'cant distinguish things for friends and things for couples'. but seriously, i havn't done much with the fd. my gf even banned me from taking photos with the fd, even when we're coming out as a bunch.

is this her jealousy problem, or shd i just get rid of this female fd for our relationship? i value this friendship a lot.:confused:

I highly advise against getting rid of your close friend for your jealous girlfriend, the relationship might not work out. Since she's jealous of your friend it seems like the relationship already started out on a bad note and it might not work out. Good friends rarely leave you, or at least less than boyfriends or girlfriends. Tell your gf that your not going to stop hanging out with your friend but assure her she has nothing to worry about. If that's not all right with her, then call the relationship off.

If this girlfriend can't handle you being with your close friend, and doing things that have no negative impact on the relationship between you and your gf, then it's probably for the best you don't be with her. She should be able to trust that you wouldn't betray her with a friend.

the thing is, my gf actually knows this female fd and they *had* been friends, until her jealousy popped out (that's few months ago i think)
i was wondering if there's anything i could do to make her less jealous so plz help here...
