puberty for boys - relationships and dating

you need to be sociable and get to know more and more people and form a social network. that way you become more known and you get to know more people. the best way to ask a girl out is to get to know her first. talk with her and find out all there is to know about her and vice versa. that should give you some sort of vibe as to whether she would want to go out with you.

It's alright, I've actually got a friend that's.. 21 and a half today! and he's never kissed a girl or been in a relationship.

To meet girls, there's all sorts of ways -- Extra-curriculars, School, Church [that's where the winners are, generally] but you have to make yourself available, and make it known that you are. Confidence is key, my friend, and if you have confidence, though it might be hard in your situation, you will get a date at some point.

The right person will come along eventually, so don't worry about it for the most part.

Don't let that word eventually get you down there. :)

Oh, my, your questions are very broad! I'm not sure there's a quick and easy answer to any of them.

I've always found that the easiest way to gain new skills is to go out and experience life. Do stuff, the process of living gives you the opportunity to feel new things and get comfortable with them. Then, as your comfort level increases, so does your self confidence. Get out there!

As you're living life, doing things, you'll come into contact with people. Activities, extra cirriculars, clubs, etc. Just relax and remember that people in these situations are usually willing to talk, that's why they're often there! When you're ready, you'll find it easier to smile at someone and just say something easy like 'hi!'.

Take it one step at a time, if you look at the whole thing, it'll freak you out, and you'll become overwhelmed and back away. Just start by getting out there more and being receptive to every new opportunity.

I guess friendly people get friends. I try to talk to a lot of people. I don't have to want to date them. Like, just say hi to the sales clerk for practice. Then they think i'm easy to talk to. I think talking is the first step. But I have to get physically close enough to talk. So I try to join social things, like activity clubs at school and church. I love dancing. School has a social dancing club. I get to hold hands with new guys and talk and be safe.
