Me and a couple of my friends have attempted to set up a game development studio and are currently working on our first game which we are calling Automaton Escape, unless we get a better name. It's a steampunk based 2d side scroller. In an attempt to make it seem more 'retro' we are making it basically an 8 bit game. I'm not advertising but actually asking for help, I said I'd handle music and programming but I'm a bit rusty on C# and am having troubles with it. If your able to help us can you say because due to my errors we are around 2 months off of deadline... yeah, I had mahor issues with just the title screen (no text). oh and you guys are first to hear the prospective title. Also If you're good at art or character development and wish to help us please say :)

C#, huh? I don't like it much, but I suppose I could give it a try again(last time I used it was last year).
Are you using Unity or another game engine, or is it plain DirectX(if they have a C# binding for that)?

Due to our ages we signed up with Dreamspark and got Visual Studio 2010 with XNA for free so we're going from scratch.

I have to say I wish you the best of luck at it, you are doing what I have dreamt of doing for a while.

Thanks, I want to share my love of gaming and design with other people. That's the only reason I'm doing it.
Just to let you all know. Due to a lack of time and it being a difficult year ahead for some of us we decided to scrap/ shelf the idea for now.
