I've posted a previous thread, but now I have a lot more things updated, so here's the new stuff.
So for the past 4-5 months I've been looking at building a PC around $1800 - $1900 max (for everything including keyboard, mouse, monitor, shipping, tax, etc). I'll be using this computer for general use, gaming, and a little photo / video work and a little coding. The photo and video stuff won't be big work.
Here's my list:
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=19862991
The 200mm fan in there will go on the side as intake with the top and back fans as exhausts and the front as intake. I'm also lookimg at getting demciflex dust filters for the side, top, and psu on bottom.
Any suggestions or ideas guys? I'm almost ready to hit the button.
Thanks so much everyone!

Looks good, man. Don't forget to post here how great it turns out to be!
Also, let me know how fast it is using the SSD. I'm in the process of making a list, and I'm wondering if I should start off with an SSD or save up and buy it later.

Yeah, that is good, but keep in mind that more advanced technologies can develop pretty soon. My laptop became outdated by the end od last year, and I bought it for 600$ in '09

Pretty good, though I would get more SSD storage.

Looks pretty good, however I would change out those Vantec fans for something with better airflow and lower noise; something more substantial. And by the way, that GTX 770 is SEXY.

Looks good. I would reconsider the money spent on the GPU since what you mentioned is unlikely to require a $500 GPU but is entirely up to you. All DirectX 11 and 11.1 hardware is compatible with most features that 11.2 has so you won't be missing out on anything hardware-wise.
You aren't buying an OS though. Since you mentioned gaming, and seeing the powerful components you are most likely going to be running Windows (on the bright side waiting for 8.1 to come out in ~2 months will let you get that for about $70 instead of the $100 8 costs right now, or the $150+ the ancient dinosaurs cost).
I would recommend a 256 GB SSD for the OS and core software: Visual Studio Express, Office, Notepad++, etc. Windows 8 and above are already fast enough and you won't see much of a difference from an SSD, but the rest of the stuff you put there sure will.
I would also recommend a Blu-Ray drive instead of a DVD drive. Price-wise is not that much of an increase, and will better future-proof the system.

Why's that? I plan to put the os and a couple games on it. bf3 and skyrim maybe... :/

I looked around and found these fans: Couger Vortex Fans (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835553005)
People seem to like them :) 2 of these will go on the side with a fan header splitter cable to the mobo.

It's a $420 gpu, and i looked at a bunch of benchmarks and results of the performance of this card in many situations and It looks to be perfect for everything I need. So I'll stay with it.
I already have a copy of Windows 7 Professional, and I will be using that.
I don't think i will benefit much with more SSD space. I only want to put the os and a couple games on the 128gb ssd. Possible a program or two. Not much. I won't need more than 128.
I will be working with uncompressed video files, so that's where the 1tb hdd will do me good.
I have no use for reading or writing blu-ray drive, and they are a lot more expensive compared to standard cd/dvd drives. $18 for a cd/dvd drive, and close to $50-$60 for a blu-ray. What use is there for one anyway?

Uncompressed video files and processing, the more main and video RAM you have available the better. If you are using Windows 7, it might be worth getting more than 8 GB of RAM
Going forward you will only see stuff either Digital or in BD. As a cheap external way to back up your data is worth the extra $30

In my opinion it's great but a few things i would take off or change to save money.
ditch the high profile ram it just gets in the way
No point in games on ssd let get a 60GB for boot drive and certain apps
If you use torrents use the hdd because it Will decrease the lifespan of a ssd and I Lost 2 hyperx's this year before may.
antistatic is worthless, I built my computer in my room (all carpet) and it works fine (except for those ssds I mentioned)
also I'd buy from amazon and get the free 2 day shipping with the prime membership trial. Plus it's cheaper.

I have 2 of those in Push/Pull on H60. They ROCK. However, despite being completely silent in terms of wind noise/motor noise, they produce a faint coil whine like noise, which can only be heard if you put your ear next to them. May not be a big deal, but something to think about. Good choice though, I would say :D
Hope it turns out nice (And performs well(Obviously)), and be sure to post some pictures with the side panel off once it its done.

Which mouse are you actually using? I'd take off the other one and throw it into a better/bigger monitor. For $1,600 I was able to build a customer a performance machine, very similar to yours except the SSD with dual 32" screens of newegg...

I'll start with 8 and get more of the same sticks later if I find I need more.

High profile? Everything will fit with the heatsink and fans and motherboard...
I will be putting windows 7, ubuntu, and a few games and programs on the 128ssd, so i'll need the full 128gb of space.
For everything else, music, movies, other software, pictures will go on the hdd.
Antistatic is NOT worthless. When working with components that are exposed (aka almost everything), any discharge of static, even when you cant feel it, can damage chips. The chip might even still work, but it might be more prone to failure later. Also, i live in a dry area, and it's getting cooler, and i have fuzziness all over my room. I will not take any risks. The strap is only a few bucks.
I've seen many reports of amazon motherboards (asus z87 series) not coming with the serial number printed on the board. I trust newegg a lot more, and it saves money since california has bitchy internet tax and shipping. I can wait for longer shipping. I've been keeping up with other site's prices, but in the long run with my list, everything from newegg is easier and less complicated.

I think I'm going to add 2 more for the push-pull like yours :). I've heard good things from it, and my room is pretty hot, so i want some good air cooling ability.
I'm not so bad with noise. I have a big fan running in my room almost all the time to keep cool, so that will be the loudest thing in the room. Thanks for your experience :).
And I'll definitely take loads of pics :)

I threw the one in at the bottom recently because it's on sale for cheaper than the other one and it looks pretty good. I'm considering it.
My desk is small, and i like pixel density over size, so I decided after looking at a bunch of monitors that 23 inches will be perfect for me. Also, i'll be playing a few fps games and i dont want to have to turn my head much to look at other things. Too big of a screen can be bad.
Do you have the list of your build? I'd like to see it :)
