Franchises That Deserve More Recognition

What are some gaming franchises that you are just shocked that no one knows about?

I'm most disturbed that the Ace Attorney franchise is not incredibly popular. I mean, yeah, in Japan. But here, nowhere near what it could be. Those who love it, love it to death, but it's just not spread around all that well, which I view as a shame.

There are plenty of them, Rondo of Blood, Lament of Innocence, Curse of Darkness, Judgement, and Harmony of Despair all had less recognition that the regular game of its franchise.

I'd say Running With Scissors (makers of the Postal series, excluding the third one, which sucked). has little recognition, but it does have a strong fan base. If you ever have like $10 in your Steam wallet, buy Postal 2. It's not supposed to be a serious game, but let me tell you: It's. Freaking.
