I have to:
Walk to the train station ( 5 minutes )
Get the train (20 minutes )
Wait for the bus (5-10 minutes)
Bus to school ( 5 minutes )

It took me probably 15 minutes or so to actually get there. If we counted time waiting for the bus, I guess more like 25ish, but 15 minutes of actual travel time. Of course, if I had just gotten a ride, it'd have taken more like 5-10 but the bus with friends is more fun.

For college now though, like 20-25 minutes each way by car. I flatout refused to do public transportation there so yeah.

To school it would take about 40 minutes or so on the bus but there was a bit of traffic and a change involved too. But in the last year of school my friend would pick me up so it only took around 10 minutes.

Next year if I get my first choice of uni the accomodation i'm hoping for is a 25/30 minute walk away from campus, if I get my insurance then accomodation would be on campus.

10 minutes by car if I can get a lift.
It can take upto an hour using the bus, just because my house is awkwardly located meaning I have to go into the city centre and change rather than going directly.

To cut this down I usually go before the morning rush, and then it's typically 45 minutes. But if I'm really lucky I can make it in half an hour. Then I have plenty of time to get coffee and do any extra work.

This year, it took about 20 minutes whether I rode the bus, which I usually did, or rode my bike, which I did a few times. Walking would take something closer to 40 minutes. I'm not sure about this year. But there seem to be a lot more stops. This doesn't look good as I hate the school buses's seats, and taking them altogether...

10 minutes to walk to the bus stop, 15 minutes by the bus, then I wait for thirty minutes, until school starts. So school start at 7:30, I wake up at 5:30, leave at 6:30 (I take my showers in the morning) then get to the bus stop at 6:40, then get to the school at 7:00, school starts at 7:30.

I'm sort of a "special case". I attend an Academy program which is not at my home school. So, there are people from all over my town that go to this academy, making the ride a lot longer. It's anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour to pick everyone up and getting to school.

I am partially homeschooled, so I don't go all the time. When I do, it takes me about 20 minutes. Dad drives me.

It takes me about 5-10 minutes by bus because I'm one of the last stops in the mornings. In the afternoon it takes about 10 minutes.

Takes a bit over an hour by bus to get to my university, although I wouldn't have it any other way. The campus is so much better than my old university and I enjoy the degree so much more. It depends on what you want out of your education and the strengths of the particular educational institute.

Since I am enrolled in college (university for you Brits), it is about an hour each way, very nice compared to the 2 hours each way I did for high school.

it takes me at the moment, 10 minutes to walk and about 2 minutes in the car :) but im moving to my nans this fall so it will be a 20-30 minute drive too i guess. There is no normal time for it to take for you to get to school, as long as you get there it doesn't really matter :D

It used to take me 15 minutes in the car, but I had a medical incident in February that led to me losing my license for six months, so now it takes me about 30 minutes on the bus. About 45 minutes to get home. :/

Lucky for me the college I attend has a satellite building right near me, so without traffic I can get there in about 3-4 minutes and with traffic 5-6 minutes.

My university is essentially at the other end of Berlin. It takes about an hour with public transport, no matter which route I take. I usually leave 90 minutes before my lectures start, so I occasionally spend more time on my way to and from university than I spend in lectures.

It takes me about 15-20 minutes by car, depending on traffic. Some times 30 minutes, but sometimes if I'm lucky and I happen to catch every green light I'll fly there in 10 :P
