X-BOX Game suggestions for a Newbie

We just got access to an X-BOX and I've only played Black Ops 2: Zombies a little, and I want to learn how to play more games but I need some suggestions for a Newbie, any suggestions?

Please no easy stuff cuz I'm new, I can try pretty much anything.

Assassin's Creed 2, Halo 3, and Oblivion are good starters. All display the capabilities of the Xbox and offer fun gameplay.

I STRONGLY advise AGAINST the Call of Duty games, only because they offer no new gaming content whatsoever. If you want a good one, Modern Warfare 2/Black Ops suffice, but it really is just a waste of money buying a COD game besides those two.

Also, if you're looking for a game with a good story, and possibly a reason to ditch the Xbox and get yourself a sexy pc gaming rig, try to find a copy of the Orange Box for the X360. Half-Life 2 & Portal are fantastic.

Grand Theft Auto IV is my favorite game. Halo 4 is also pretty cool. Oh, and definately check out Grand Theft Auto V when it comes out on September 17th.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is an older 360 game but its still really fun

Lets see, 360 games that can get you started in any genre.
2008's Prince of Persia if you want a fun and immersive 3D platformer.
Mortal Kombat if you desire a fighting game that doesn't rape you.
Asassin's Creed 2 is a must have.
Fable II (not III because it sucks) can get you started on RPGs, although it is not the best out there.
Forza Horizon if you want a racing game.

I wouldn't say Horizon, only because there's no tuning, and there's only like 120-140 cars. Forza 4 has a lot more content for the price of it, but this is just my opinion.

battlefield 3 is the greatest console availible fps out there, hands down. anyone who disagrees is a communist bent on destroying america. unless you dont like america, in which case they are moneybag capitalists. halo has a better storyline, but multliplayer isnt as good as BF3. skyrim and oblivion are amazing in their own way. just cause 2 is similar grand theft auto, but its more fun, imo.
