*I know I made a thread like this before, but I'm unsure again and I need more help*

So I think I might be a guy. I don't know. When I think of the future, I imagine me as a guy. I prefer boys clothes, and acting like a boy. I'd rather have a males body, and I don't like having breasts. As an experiment, I'm asking my four closest friends to call me Jared instead of Jenny for a while, to see if it feels right. But is there any other way to know? Or even begin to know? Help me, guys, please.

That is a hard and major choice to go through. I've not personally known anyone who has or feels that way, but to respect that people do have feelings such as these so ingrained, that it would be wrong to put it down to a phase or hormones. How are you feeling being called Jarad and wearing more boyish clothes, does it feel more natural? Further down the line it will ultimately involve surgery (probably legally not before the age of 18), but hormone treatment can be done earlier. Talking to a doctor and being referred to the relevant specialists in this field would and should be looked into. I know you won't make this decision lightly. Please also take your time, and remember you are not alone on this journey.

I don't personally have much experience with trans people, so I might be wrong with this, but I read somewhere that you're supposed to go to a psychologist or someone who's supposed to help you figure out your gender identity, and from there they help you make the decision to get hormone treatments, surgery, etc.

I generally wear boyish clothes, and I've always preferred it. Looser T-shirts, baggier jeans, bigger hoodies, I like all of that. Being called Jared feels right. I've never liked Jenny as a name, but Jared feel like it should be my name. I've been researching into it a lot, to help myself get a better understanding of what I think I am, or what I might be. Not all trans people get surgery, but I think I would. I've decided that even if I figure this out, I won't come out until I'm 18, because I don't want to be so dependant on my parents.

There are Gender Identity Therapists, but I doubt there are any around my area. I'd have to travel to get anything like that, therapy or hormones or surgery. And most places, you have to be diagnosed with gender dysphoria to get hormones, which generally involves at least two doctors clearing you for hormones.

Your thoughts sound like what I did and do go through, your actions on entertaining them is what I wished I could do. I wish I could help. I only know this, try seeing yourself in not 10, not 5 but 3 years. Ask this?

Do you now want to be a boy?
Are you a boy then?
Are you willing to give up your body for a male body?
Are you okay being boys/girls as the opposite sex?
Have you felt this way before?
AND How long have you felt this way?

It's a huge risk. Just make sure you're making the right decision.

Are you okay being with boys/girls as the opposite sex? (Updated)
This I say it's unanimous, perhaps now that those questions all lean to you possibly being a f to m transgender then perhaps education on the procedure and how? I myself sometimes wish I was a girl but I know I cannot change that and that I would not commit to it. With me I'm afraid, I want the best of both worlds which is crazy.

Mmm idk how this works but maybe you could just like ...guys stuff. Its not wrong to use jeans and T-shirts or liking videogames or skate or mechanics or football (boy stereotype). Do you really want to be a boy? like...with a penis? Or do you just like to do the kind of things boys do?
