this girl i know...

i know this girl (shes in my lunch period) and ive been really attracted to her, like, ever since 4th/5th grade!

i knew her for a while but we never really talked or did much with each other or each others friends, we just talked in the hallways, and even then my legs turned to mush (luckily she does most of the talking)

so im asking this, how can i become closer to her? im also afraid, if i date her and break up we wont be friends anymore. Is there any easier way to getting to know here better?

its a good point you make about not being friends afterwards. you can say all you want about how you will still be friends after a potential break up, but its never the same. you just need to ask yourself if you want her to be a close friend that will probably last or a girlfriend that might not last. getting to know her better is all about talking to her and finding out more about her. ask her questions about herself, and tell her about you. thats the best way to do it and then you will have a better idea of whether you might want to ask her out or not.

just talk to the girl more. if you a worried about not being good friends with her if you do break up. then my suggestion is dont go out with her straight away. just talk to her. become her goood friend. hang out with her. do things with her. you might find it that you will prefer to be her friend then her boyfriend. but then if after a while you find youtself still likeing her. or even liking her more. then go out with her. most relationships will end up in breaking up. but after that sure things will be different but it doesnt mean different in a bad way. just see how things pan out.

but first things first. just be a really good friend. and dont always let her do all the tlaking. make sure you have a large amount of imput on the conversation. and just chill!!

ok i havent posted in a bit but i have talked to her more. and im like realllly attracted to her, and now i think she is starting to finally notice me...

It's so confusing when I got attracted to my friend. I think it's almost easier to tell a new person that I like them. I hope it works out for you.
