Haha I know what you mean. I used to snack a lot when I came home.

But see I wasn't eating much in the morning or for lunch. Are you eating decently throughout the day before you get home? If not, if you eat well for breakfast and lunch then it will make you less hungry when you get home.

Also, if you make junk food less available you'll be less likely to eat it.

feel free to snack when you get home from school, just limit what you eat, just have some healthy snakc.s they have 100 calorie pack snacks now and fruits and veggies...grab those instead of something bad for you then eat dinner and you wont be hungry! easier said than done i know! but you can do it!

drink black tea or coffee, it fills you and gives you a energy boost and add some sweetner to if your craving sugary food, or you can get extra light hot chocolate that will satisfy your sweet tooth and it fills you too.
hope that helps

Self-control and a good diet are the only things that can help you. Eat whole grains. They fill you much longer and are healthier than white bread.

i used to have that problem and what i would do is drink a lot of water to fill me up and go away from the kitchen or pantry where the food was at. when i had a craving i would start doing something else right away (i.e. homework, exercising). it really is about self control. the more you don't give in to the cravings, the less trouble you'll have. don't worry though, you'll get it.

Brushing your teeth works wonders when you're hungry...Green tea is fantastic for hunger pains. I don't really like the taste, though. So I drink the apple flavoured iced tea. Haha. But it's great, full of antioxidants, aswell.
