small block Chevy. great part availability, great durability, good pricing, reliable, and have a lot of potential. fords and mopars have become too expensive, and too hard to get parts for, and the mopars, well, the 440 6 pack sucks to set up the carbureator linkage, and the hemis are just not reliable enough. fords big blocks are too expensive and rare, but their 302s and 351s are good if you have the $ laying around.

Nothing better than a big block Chevy, my dads got a fully restored 454 chevelle ss in the garage and it hauls ass while burning through the gas. Mopar is my second favorite
