Hi everyone! I made some delicious American Chop Suey the other night, it's so delicious and simple I thought I would share my recipe!

WHAT YOU NEED
Pasta, I used penne but you could also use elbows.
Ground beef.
Marinara sauce.
Italian spices (spice mix).
Soy sauce.
Pot.
Pan.
Strainer.
Pasta spoon.
Another flat serving thingamabob for stirring beef in.
Salt (optional).

INSTRUCTIONS
1.First you will need to defrost your beef. I had 1lb. My microwave has a built in defroster, you just enter the weight and it beeps when you need to turn it. Took 7 minutes.
2. Take your pot and fill it about halfway with water, put it on the burner and set it on high. I always sprinkle some salt in the water.
3. Put your defrosted beef in the pan on the burner, set to medium. You can cut it up to small chunks. Let it sizzle for a moment then flip it around. Once it starts to turn brown, sprinkle in a good amount of italian seasonings and a litle bit of soy sauce.
4. When your water is boiling pour the pasta in.
5. Switch between stirring your beef and pasta.
6. When your pasta is 'al dente' strain it.
7. Pour your can of marinara sauce into the bottom of the now empty pot.
8. Pour your pasta into the pot.
9. Your beef should be nicely browned and spiced by now, pour that in the pot too.
10. Mix it all together and eat hot!

Soo delicious, one of my favorite meals and so simple! Let me know what you think!
