It's HDR-panorama. This one whole pictures is a total of 30 pictures put together. For example, let's take out 1 picture out of the 10 from the panorama. Let's say it's the very left chunk. that 1 picture, is 3 pictures. It's exposure is -1, 0, +1. I get detail, contrast, and colors from the different exposures and put them together. I'll do the same thing with the other 9 sections, or 27 pictures. I used Photomatix Essentials to combine the different exposures together, and used Photoshop CS6 to stitch the panorama sections together.

Wow, that's quite a bit of work! The result turned out great, :)
If you're looking for criticism, I've got one thing... or rather, a suggestion. Now, I don't specialize in panoramas, so this is just my personal opinion.
I would have done a crop like this:

With the original, the left side is kinda eh and plain. But to me, if you crop it, it looks more pleasing to the eye. You've got your sun and the mountain following the rule of thirds, and the light mountains transition from light to dark; leading your eye to the sun; your focus point. With the original, you've just kinda got your sun there in the middle and the left and right side feel imbalanced to me.

Thanks for the imput! :) I havent thought about the rule of 3rds because the salt beds were huge, I just wanted to show how massive the land was, but I do kind of agree the picture's a bit plain on the left side. Thanks again!

Awesome dude!
Try run it through an ultra-wide lens profile in photoshop or try to smoothen out the distortion a little, so you get a flat horizon with no bump in the middle.
 I really want to visit there one day!

I absolutely LOVE the Mojave Desert (which Death Valley is located in), so naturally, I love this photo. :P
As Steve Jobs said, I think a bit more editing in post will help to remove some of the distortion that could take away from the photo. However, I *rarely* take panoramas so I don't know if this is possible. It's up to the eye of the photographer on what makes a good shot, and I think this is good work!
