I'm seventeen years old, to be eighteen in several months and I have very little arm pit hair- the little that I have is very blonde. Also, I hardly ever have to shave and have very little leg hair- some around the calf and ankle that is dark but barely any up on my thighs. I have a bit of a happy trail. Is this normal? I feel embaressed in the summer swimming, in the locker rooms, and when I'm lucky enough to have a lady take off some of my clothes. I would really appreciate any of your ideas.

Also, does puberty effect muscle development, I've been lifting every other day or so sice November and I havent gotten too much bigger.

1) Some guys just aren't that hairy. That's normal because everybody's different and some guys are hairy while others are smooth. Plus, hair isn't what makes you a man. Hair shouldn't be an expectation of people. Although, to tell you the truth, you may develop a little more hair, but probably not much.

2) Puberty does affect muscle development. Although, I've been lifting, and the best results come from lifting every day. But here's something to consider:

Have you just started lifting? If so, then you may be using the wrong form, like swinging when you do bicep curls for example. This can make developing your biceps take longer because you're using your hip muscles to carry most of the weight.
Also, 2 months isn't a very long time. It takes quite awhile to develop muscles. If you don't have a proper diet for your workout routine or you don't stick to a routine, or you don't work enough or overwork yourself during a workout, then it will take longer to develop muscles.

Plus, I believe that weight training isn't something that you do for awhile to get the results and then stop. It's something that you continue.

Did I answer your question? I think I missed something or didn't understand what you said

well it sounds like you are just hitting puberty i my self was kinda late to hit it but i thank if you give your self a little more time and see if the purberty progresses and if it dosent my opinion is to go to the docs office and be tested to see if your body is producing the right amount of testostrome(sy about the spelling) edit: plz correct me if im wrong ty

Excessive hair isnt all that dreamy, and some guys just develop differently. I have a couple of friends who are in that situation.

As for the muscle thing, puberty does affect it, but your routines have to be arduous, and lifting goes nowhere without proper diet and sleep.
