Should I go with those pillows or solid color accent pillows?

I like those throw pillows but what might look better is having accent colour pillow cases on your regular pillows. Depending on the colour of the room, match it or find something that compliments both the room and the designs on the throw pillows.

So solid white sheets but using different pillow cases than white (assuming it's in a set). You can usually get pillow cases on their own. Something like this (just using red as an example):

I love the combo. it would have made a perfect trio if the american pillow had a famous structure on it like the other two, such as the statue of liberty or empire state building.
