I know there are recent posts about guys who have a lot of wet dreams but I'm 16 and not had a single one. I wank about the same as most other guys do, and they still get thrm. Is this normal? Does it mean anything is wrong? And do you think im past that stage so wont have one from now? Also what are they like, unpleasant or enjoyable?

I'm 15 and have been in puberty since I was like 9-10, and I have also not had a wet dream. I don't think there is anything irregular with that.

i've never had a single wet dream before, and i usuallly masturbate 1-3 times a day. i usually do it before going to sleep and i've always assumed that doing so prevents them from happening

I've never had a wet dream before either....if you masturbate a lot, then your body has no excess semen to expel, which is what a wet dream is.

If you masturbate regularly you shouldn't have wet dreams. If you go a long period of time without masturbating though, you will.

I jerk off daily, just to prevent that from happening.

You're completely normal, nothing wrong at all.
On the second question, they certainly aren't unpleasant. I've enjoyed the few I've had. The part that sucks is you're jizzing in your sleep. Its essentially wetting the bed. That's why you'll find guys complaining. I personally am not a fan for those same reasons.

This is the same as me.
It's perfectly normal to not have one; I haven't had one either

Not to worry, i am 15 and haven't had a wet dream since i started puberty. Wet dreams are a way for the body to get rid of excess sperm without you doing it through masturbation or sex. However for those who masturbate on a regular basis, the body will have no need to get rid of excess sperm because you're doing the job instead. Wet dreams are not required and it is normal for boys to not get them. As to your friend still getting them but still masturbating, i think they could just produce some sperm at a faster rate. It's different for everyone, don't worry. :)

That's actually not true. It's just a spontaneous thing that happens during and after puberty.
I had one once. I just woke up and it happened.
There's really nothing that determines who has one and who doesn't. It just happens, and its completely normal if it doesn't.

It's because you jack off probs regularly. Nothin wrong with that.

No worry. According to my survey, half of 17yo lads had wet dreams. I personnaly never had one. I wank once or twice a day.

im 18 and I had one when I was about 10...i didnt know what one was or anything about puberty... it was embarrasing. Was away for a week on a school holiday / summer camp.. in a room with about 8 other boys. Was werid because i didn't know what it was nor did anyone else.
now i know what they are and i've only ever had another one since then.... i had mumps and was advised not to j/o, and i had to drink lots of water, after ten days of not j/o, i had a wet dream..... the sensation is really nice, espec if your having a cool dream.... some people dont like wet dreams.... only bad/anoyying part is it can be very messy (it was for me the second time around).
Its normal, some people get them, some dont... theres nothing wrong with you so dont worry.

I haven't had ONE. I'm 15 and I jerk off daily, so I haven't had one. When you cum, you have a lower chance to have a wet dream.

I am one of the people who has never had one. Regular masturbation seems to make them less likely.
I can't comment on what they feel like. The previous poster describing a wet dream as a kind of "wetting the bed" is probably not a good comparison. There is almost two orders of magnitude difference in volume between a large load of semen and a full bladder and the smell from urine would be harder to get rid of.
