This has nothing to do with puberty. This is a debate.

How so? I think views like these defeat the purpose of us (women and men) fighting for gender equality.

Why would I think any gender is superior to another? Isn't the point to be equal?

Do you mean that you think society is now a society of female supremacy or do you mean that you think females are better than males? Either way I disagree with you.
Out of curiosity, are you male or female? Just trying to figure out what side you're seeing it from.

wtf? however women are accepted to have better memory and be better at English than men. whereas men build muscle more easily and thats why elite forces only have men.
I honestly dont see how, apart from in English that women are superior?

Seems like the opposite, in most cases, but we're supposed to strive for equality

I don't quite understand your question. Are you saying that women are somehow superior based on innate characteristics, or are you saying that they receive better treatment in society and are seen as dominant.
If you mean the former, then I disagree. There are differences between men and women, but in general, they seem to balance out. Furthermore, the differences between the groups is time compared to the difference within either group.
If you mean the latter, then you are simply wrong. Women recover horrible treatment in many parts of the world. Even in fairly progressive countries, they still face discrimination, though in more subtle forms.

I consider males and females to be equal.
It's more of society that's usually sexist, or panders to one gender than the other. For example, if you see a lot of commercials, some made by companies like McD's, you see the man being stupid/immature, and the women scolding him for it, as if to say "Men are idiots, and women are the intelligent group."
Another example would be when it comes to how society sees sexual problems. Whenever a woman is raped or sexually abused, they get all the attention. When a male is raped or sexually abused, nobody cares. It's as if women get treated better than men in some cases.
In the end, I see and treat both genders equally. They're both important, and the fact that women are often seen as the intelligent people, whereas men are shown as complete buffoons really irks me.

They're equal but not treated equally. You brought up rape - it's not that no-one cares when males are abused it's that people don't realise it happens. And both genders are ridiculed for being the victim of sexual assault.
I see where your coming from in the intelligence factor, I'm not quite sure where it stems from though, as men are generally given more important jobs over women and are often paid more for the same work.

I also forgot to bring up the job/work topic. Thank you for that. :P
No, they really aren't. In every position I see, it's leaning towards one gender over the other.
I watch a lot of videos on stupid stuff society does. This being one of those topics.

Both genders have positive and negative traits. To claim that one is superior over the other is childish.

No. Both stand equally and none are superior just by gender. People should only be judged by who they are and what effect their actions cause, not what body they are born into.

men and women both have their strengths and weakness, men just became more "dominant" because of their brawn, but you really cant say which is superior

Okay, women and men are equal. In every way, at least they should be.
Plenty of men are great at English, and plenty of women are starting to branch out into special forces. Look at the Navy fucking SEALS. Now accepting women.

I didn't say women couldn't do it but men build muscle more easily and lose fat more easily, thats a fact however of course if women meet the same high standards of course they should be allowed to join, I think the Royal Marines are thinking about allowing women in and even the SAS will probably start to think about women members, and statistically women are better at English and memory, these are facts however yes no gender is superior

Seriously, though, I've never put much thought into it. You can't just say girls are better than boys or the other way around, that's extremely childish.
I'm all about equality.

If women were as equal or even 'superior' to men then they would be making a higher salary or even an equal one. But they aren't. We still have a long ways to go until everyone is truly "equal"

Girls have a slightly larger hypothalamus, more hormones, so they technically have a larger brain. Though that does not affect intelligence. Girls may focus more. ADHD is more common in boys, I think, so they naturally have an urge to move and not focus. I'm gonna start a thread see ya!

As said before both genders have adapted traits over the other. If I had a choice between the two it'd actually be quite a difficult decision.

I don't think women are seen as superior or as equals in our society yet. Women and men have been fighting for generations and will continue to fight for equality between the sexes until it is a reality. Not all men are sexist, but all men benefit from sexism.

No. Definitely not. Women slightly outnumber men, but there's definitely nothing to classify us as "superior," which is a very subjective label anyhow. Men aren't superior, either. Everyone is equal, or everyone should be, if you ask me.
Yes, there are physical differentiations that make men or women better adapted for certain tasks, but to say that one is better than the other would be a generalization.

I'm pretty sure this thread is intended to be about whether women in society are treated as superior to men. I don't think this has anything to do with violence between men and women.

they're* girls not their
I think you're wrong in saying the law always side with women. At least in other countries, it's not like that. Especially ones that strongly discriminate against women
