First kiss

So I finally had my first kiss today at the age of 18.

It happened kind of suddenly and it was not as good as I thought it'd be. I was tense and uncomfortable and it was just awkward all around. I LIKE the guy it was with, but it just wasn't good for me.

I thought kissing was supposed to be this wonderful, beautiful thing? But this experience was so terrible that I don't even want to count it as my first kiss. I have no experience, so I couldn't tell you if the technique was bad or not, I just wasn't happy with it...

First kiss will usually be your worst because you don't have much experience and are nervous etc...

sorry to hear your first kiss wasn't what you expected. yeah the first kiss from someone that you really like is special and wonderful. well at least it was for me.

First kisses are always awful. Always. You have no idea what to do, and you're nervous, it's bad all around. But, it gets better!

Mine wasnt really a kiss.. Mine was a makeout. For some reason she wanted to do that instead of a kiss. It was alright, but I think it could have been better.

Haha thanks everyone! Glad to know I'm not the only one. I really had no idea what to do, not to mention the fact that he seemed to want to make out more so than just kiss...

First kisses are strange. Kisses are strange when you think about them. They're sloppy and weird and awkward and there are noses bumping and lips colliding at awkward angles and you know what? That's probably what's so awesome about it. I mean, it's super cute once you get past the nerves and maybe you're both still kinda bad at it but you can laugh over it later. I've had some super awkward kisses that were still great 'cause it was funny and I just really liked the person anyway.

Unless someone is a miracle worker with kisses, I think most people think their first kiss with anyone new is... different, at best. But they get better with time when you start to know what you're doing and the other person starts to know what they're doing and then you both know what the other is doing and... yeah. I make kissing sound super weird but that's because it kinda is. Making out is even weirder but then again, even more fun once you start to get some idea of how it works and how your partner does it. And that's when they start getting to be those super awesome kisses that take your breath away or whatever. And it really doesn't take that long to catch on really.

I think we all expect this magical thing to happen from the first time we ever try this super clumsy form of affection and it's not typically true. But that's okay, it's totally not just you. But hey, congrats! It may have sucked but hey, now you know what you don't like. :P
