I've been diagnosed with ADHD. One of the reasons I'm on the computer most of the day is because almost all of my friends are from online forums or communities. I find it much easier to communicate with people online, seeing how people can't actually see your expression or hear what you're saying. It might connect somewhat with your social anxiety because I find it much, mucj easier to talk to people on the internet. I am okay in real life, but I usually can't keep a conversation going for more than five minutes. I also find it difficult to start a conversation. If I ever talk to anyone, the other person starts the conversation.

I understand. I have social anxiety as well. Computers are much easier to use to talk to people because mostly they're people you'll never see, that are less likely to judge you, etc etc. I spend 99% of my day online.

The best thing to do is go to the doctors, you can sit there and look through lists of symptoms all day long and yes, a lot of things will match up, but a doctor will be much more helpful than internet searches, it's common to prefer online contact with people, I always have, people are always going to judge you, they're people and if they have nothing better to do than judge and mock you then that's their problem, they probably have plenty of insecurities they're trying to hide which is why they're picking at you, try not to let it get you down, it's just daft immature behaviour :hug3:
