Chevy volt feat of engineering or overly complex

I honestly think either go full gas or full electric. The Volt isn't as efficient as something like the Nissan LEAF or a Tesla when it comes to full electric mode.

[Plane And Simple]

I find it pretty much have the best choice for people that don't focus in city driving 90 percent of the time. Points:

Extra power delivery by the electric motor to the gas engine when acceleration is needed
The gas engine can take over and provide extra torque in a handful situation
If you batteries run empty, your gas engine will take over, doing the job of transport as well as recharging the batteries.
