Hey I'm 13 and I still wear Speedos. I wear them because I'm on a swim team, and I model. Is there anyone else on here who still wears Speedos?

Where I live that'd be just about the only way you'd get away with it. And you'd probably still get picked at.

as long as you have the right body for it wear them as long as you want...the guys on my hs swim team wear them even casually...but of course they look good in them :)

Still? Usually little ones wear boxers.. right? And what does modeling have to do with wearing speedos, I am a model and my bathing suit is really modest. tankini with long skirt. (mom says no bikinis) but you can wear whatever you want.

There is no way in hell that I'd wear a speedo. I'm not nearly close to having the body of someone who should wear one.

i have to where them with my swim team at school, but luckily i don't look horrible in them but going swimming with friends and family i sometimes where speedos and shorts :)

Not speedos but I do wear spandex!
I'm not on a swim team but I do swim laps and like the spandex because it improves the hydrodynamics and makes it easier to swim.
Thankfully, I'm in good enough shape so that I don't look horrible in them.

I wore one once when I was at my girlfriends pool in her back yard. It made me feel naked... I mean obviously, I was fine there, because of who I was with, but anywhere else, I would be way too uncomfortable.

I'll probably use it occasionally for lap swimming (fitness). I normally wear jammers for that but I may put this suit in the rotation!

I absolutely love speedos, they feel kinda awkward at first, especially when you are around others, but you get used to them after a while lol

Okay, guys, serious question here...

I'm on the beach, gotta lounge chair under a tiki hut and a cooler of drinks and snacks, reading and relaxing before school starts soon. I am wearing a speedo, because I like wearing it and it tans my thighs.

While I'm relaxing, I've noticed many young guys roughly my age are swimming and playing around in these swim trunks that look 3 times too big and have to constantly be pulled up. I've seen more boy ass-crack than I care to today. Still, if asked I would bet they wouldn't be caught dead wearing a speedo. The funny thing is NO ONE has seen my ass-crack!

Having been in swim teams, speedos don't creep me out. They are quite comfortable and functional.

Also, I've seen many guys around my age that actually look pretty good, slim and lightly muscled, pretty much hairless, that would look great in a speedo. Granted, it probably is best to wear some trunks when running around, but when you're just laying in the sun, dammit drop the trunks and tan your freakin' thighs! Sorry, this just really bothered me today.

I agree, if you wear a speedo that fits properly, you will never have to worry about constantly pulling it up. The speedo might be tighter and more "revealing" then normal trucks. But it beats showing asscrack every 10 minutes :P

I'll be honest, I really don't get why people have such a problem with them. I really don't think they're that exposing. I used to swim and dive for many years and I was just always used to being around them. Nobody really cared what we were all wearing, it was just the norm. I wear board shorts to the beach or in my pool, but I don't think it's necessarily wrong to wear a speedo in public, I don't have the willpower to do so, but for people that actually do, I'm not about to judge.

I see no problem with speedos. They're just swimwear IMO.
