We can't say what your friend is. Nobody but he can. Nothing he does "makes" him gay, or should give you any "ideas" about his orientation. It really doesn't matter.

If he is gay, then he will tell you (or not). If not, then you'd be over-thinking for no reason whatsoever.

Don't assume what sexual orientation is, because it neeeeveeeer works out the way you want it to.
