Linked images

There's something wrong with linked images...

On the BBCode page (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode#imgcode), the linked image example works as it should. I copied the bbcode straight off the page yet the linked image in this post doesn't link to the right url (www.example.com). It links straight to the image (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/images/styles/bingo/statusicon/forum_new.gif).

When I click the linked image it takes me to www.example.com though.... ? Am I misunderstanding something here?

Oh..I don't get taken to example.com. I just get taken to a full sized version of the image

hovering over the image that's linked:

Url at bottom shows the image url for some reason :/ at least for me. I don't know why. Guess it's something on my browser though I have no idea what.

it's fine for me, I think it's a problem with example, try with facebook, here's what I got

It's not a problem with the example. Any linked image doesn't work properly for me. I've tried it several times

It works fine for me too. I’d recommend clearing cookies/cache and/or trying a new theme and/or a different browser. You never really know what its reason for not working is.

may I ask which browser your using and phone of computer?

Chrome; computer. I'll try it with Firefox later. I'm thinking it has to do with some extension of Chrome but I can't figure out for the life of me which one it could be that affects linked images on VT. Not to mention linked images on other sites work fine.

thats odd, Google chrome normally is great, ive had no problems with it, it must be something you have done to chrome, try resetting it

I haven't done anything to Chrome. I've had this problem on VT for a while, I haven't dealt with it till now.

EDIT: Okay, used Firefox, and it seems like Chrome is the culprit. Must be some extension that causes them not to work on VT.

Just curious, what web browser are you using Jess?
