Getting a girlfrined

well my problem is that I can't really talk to girls unless it's over phone, or internet cause if I see a girl in real life I think is cute I will just clam up and not say anything and avoid her at all cost, but I have had 2 girlfriends before and I can't seem to find any girls where I live that I would like to date, there all far away and I'm 17 and I've been alone for a long time and the two girlfriends I had were this year and they were my first ever so if anyone has any advice or help please respond back

I have had similar problems as well. I have a whole bunch of speech problems so I speak and get my thoughts out best when I'm typing. However, of course I'll need to talk in real life SOME time.

I don't think that's really your problem, as you've had two girlfriends before despite your preference to talk indirectly.

You say that there's no one around you'd like to date, but really, you don't know that. You need to get to know a person before taking it further. Even if that means you don't want to take it further in the beginning, that doesn't mean you're not able to change.

I'm sure the only reason you're alone now it's because you haven't been exploring and scrolling through your options.
