arguable. sure they aren't as good as desktops, but they are more portable than a huge desktop, and some modern gaming laptops are pretty portable.

I would like to own an Alienware laptop as it looks really cool but tbh I'm not much of a PC gamer.

If you want a gaming laptop and money is not object you should check out the Razor Blade gaming laptop, it is fairly powerful and wait for it....wait for it....Actually portable!
It is the thinnest gaming laptop i have ever scene and manages to keep all the power of other gaming laptops, may hat goes off to the people at Razor for that. Unfortunately it is extremely expensive.
But i would have the desktop over the laptop any day, just more powerful and more up gradable but that's just me, i can see why you would want an gaming laptop over a pc
