Okay so I have to ask a question. Lately, I've been super wet. I mean like having to change my panties a couple times a day wet. It's really clear and sticky/liquidy if that helps at all?

I know that at times of the cycle you can have different types of juice and amounts of discharge. I also know that like when you get excited that you get wet. I get all that. But like lately I've been like super wet. I wake up wet and go to sleep wet. It doesn't stop all day. It's been like this for about two weeks now. I'm on the pill so my cycle is really regular. I have been particularly horny lately and like get aroused really easily lately. I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever experience a phase where they produce a crazy amount of vaginal juice?

I don't want to get in trouble for stories but if anyone like has experienced this and knows sort of what caused it and for how long it lasted that would be great.

Sounds like normal discharge to me. If it's clear and no odor everything should be OK. Wear a liner if its a problem.

It's happened before to me as long as it does not appear out of the ordinary then you should be fine, and as TinyDancer said wearing a liner can help from having to constantly change your panties.

Catie, thanks alot! You said it happens to you? Do you remember for like how long it happened? I'm not super worried of an infection cause like you said it is totally odorless and clear. It's just a super lot. I mean when i woke up this morning my thighs were soaked and there was a decent wet spot in the bed and in the time i walked to my bathroom it had literally run all the way down my leg.

Oh one other thing, you both said panty liners which is fine but really what i want to know is when i can go back to not wearing panties cause like i play a lot of sports and usually don't wear any under my sorts unless I'm on my period. Do either of you think there is any health risk, problem with maybe wearing a light day tampon when not on your period?

Sounds like you're just more horny than usual. I'd guess nothing out of the ordinary. But no you shouldn't use tampons if you don't have to, you can get toxic shock syndrome if you leave them in too long.

Okay thanks Taryn, I've heard of that like it's on the warnings but i've never heard of anyone actually getting it? But ya maybe not the best idea, i'll just deal with panties and liners for awhile until things calm down down there! :)

try wearing a skirt or dress to get more air flow
it can help with discharge

Taryn, thanks maybe I'll start changing into a skirt when i'm not at practice. It's just that like i'm a total shorts girl in the summer. Oh well. Thanks again!

Cheer, I'm gonna just use panty liners for a bit I think that should do it. But ya I'm talking seriously wet. Enough to make me post on here. :)

I'm not sure but maybe see if it continues after your next period. If it's as bad as you're saying, you might wanna get it checked out, but if I were you I would wait until after the next cycle.

It's just being a teenager hun - there are times where I can't stop mbating and getting turned on and there are other times where I can not reach orgasm either... or it takes forever.

Happens to me too some times. Annoying, but nothing to worry about.

Unfortunately when you go through puberty, weird stuff happens. And, sorry to say, this may stop or it may not but as long as it's not discoloured or whatnot, as others have mentioned, it's actually completely normal for some women. Often times it has nothing to do with whether or not you're aroused, excessive discharge is just a natural part of some women's cycles and reproductive system. Or your hormones are just going through a phase. You're 14 so more likely than not, you're going to be going through a lot of changes in that department so you'll probably just have to tough it out for awhile to see what happens.

There have been suggestions about wearing a liner or maybe a lighter pad (so it's not totally uncomfortable) which are good. I'm not sure about wearing a tampon when you're not on your period... personally I hate them so I've never even thought about it. Another suggestion I've heard of is to eat apples? Not entirely sure how it works but I've heard of it. Plus general changes in your diet (eating healthier, taking vitamin supplements, etc) could make it improve somewhat. If it really becomes unbearable, just ask to speak to a doctor. I don't think it's anything to worry about but you can get someone's professional advice as well if you'd like.

Odds are, it's just something that's naturally a bit different for you than most girls.

Seems like nothing to worry about, but like others have said, if it continues to bother you there's no harm in getting in checked out.

Okay Apples? Really?

But honestly, thank you all so much for all the advice and help. I really do appreciate it.

Okay Apples? Really?

Don't quote me on that. :P It may just be an old wives' tale I picked up somewhere but it came to mind.
