I've been friends with this guy since grade 4 ( now going into grade 9 ) and I like him A LOT!! I'm planning of comming out as gay on October 11th of this year ( he semmed interested in bisexuality but in not sure... ) Should I tell him I like him? Also, does anyone have any tips on comming out to family and friends?

Personally i think you need to be very cautious about how you think he feels.. Or else something could happen to ruin your friendship~ I would suggest figuring out if he even remotely likes guys and then from there i would say you should go for it! ^_^ Other than that, i think you can do it~ :) About the friends and family, just come out honest and be yourself and if they choose to accept it then great! If not then you are perfect as who you are and no different and should just put off what they think. Every parent should love their child no matter who they like.

Well, when you come out, if he's bi and no one knows, he might come out to you, because you're like him, in a way. You could see if he's like the other guys, hitting on girls and stuff.

For the guy, before dropping the like bomb try and find out how he feels about gay people. Mention some LGBT fact or whatever. If he's cool with gay people, then he won't be very scared off after you tell him that you like him. For your friends and family: For family, make sure they aren't homophobic first so you don't get kicked out. It's a sad reality, but yes, many gay teens do find themselves homeless. For friends: Go ahead and tell them, unlike your family they have little actual power over you. If they accept you, that's great. If they don't, then I guess you're better off not knowing them anyway.

Our friends brother is Bi and we where talking about it and he was paying attention ( quoting the convo ): "He's bi right?" he said "Yeah" I said "That means he could bang a guy and not mind..." he replied "Yeah..." I said "Hmm....." he said
As for hitting on girls, he never does... He's just a gentleman towards them.
