I need some advice on getting a job.

Hello, I was just interested in what you think and stuff about getting a job. I applied online to 4 Burger Kings and 3 McDonalds and then I also applied in person to a gas station/convenicance store/deli(?). The thing that I want to know is how long before I hear about the jobs? I applied to the gas station on the 19th, the burger kings the 19th and Mcdonalds was the 20th and 21st. My mom said I should call the gas station today to ask about the application but I'm not entirely sure I would want to work there. Its a lot closer to me than the others, but it has a kitchen job and I don't know how to cook. It also has a cashier job but they sell alcohol so I couldn't do that until later this year when I'm 17. So what should I do? Should I call the gas station tomorrow and the others tomorrow too? I don't want to call today because its Monday and I applied on a Friday and weekends could have been to busy.

If, as you say you don't really want the gas station job I wouldn't bother calling them at all as it may be that they weren't going to call back anyway in which case you won't have to work there. However, yeah. I would ring the others. I don't think it'll matter if they're busy or not as anyway maybe Monday could be a quieter day after the weekend? Anyway, if you want one of those jobs call them! Hope I helped a bit :)
