What's your opinion on "Affirmative action" laws? For those who don't know, these laws generally require business to employ a certain number of minorities and women, and have quotas where colleges must accept a certain number of these people.
I personally think that to wrongs don't make a right, and these polices are essentially reverse discrimination. A workplace should hire aomebody because they are the best fit for the job, not because they are a certain demographic they are required to employ.

Yes, that is reverse discrimination. If someone else gets hired for a job that I am more capable at because of their race; which is what this party wants;that is discrimination and racism. Dumb Democrats want to make the world a better place, but have no brains!!! Government has no right to tell who is best to hire for a company

Well, I can see how the laws were good back when they were first made, due to the intense discrimination, but I agree, there's not as much of that now, and if a college or business didn't hire you due to race or gender, they would be in a lot of trouble.

I think this happened a university, a girl was turned down and told that ''she could not attend because she was white.'' Eventually U.R. won the right not to accept her because of her race!!! I don't care if you are black or white, that is racism.

I agree. It's complete bullshit that was invented to hide the fact that men or women are better at some jobs and are thus more employable then the opposite sex. The same with race. People shouldn't hire out of fear of being accused of prejudice.

I absolutely hate this term. It makes one particular race look like the victim. Discrimination is discrimination.

People should be hired by capability, not color of their skin or gender.
