Before they move this to another section, i want to say i understand your situation. I wish i could tell my parents about how i feel about my sexuality but i don't have the courage to tell them and have to deal with what they say. My advice to you, is to start by telling them together, maybe sit them down or something or even text them if you really don't want to talk to them face to face. But just tell them you are gay and then you really just have to see the outcome. It's different for all parents. :) Good luck! I think they will love you no matter what and you will be fine.

In my opinion, just go out there and tell them. I'm pretty sure they will support you. I know this is easier said than done as it is very scary but if you have supporting parents then I'm sure they will understand. Hope this helps :)

Coming out is very different depending on your family background and how accepting your parents are. My parents aren't into organized religion and they support LGBT rights (to some extent) so me coming out as bi was just another day. However for some, coming out can lead to home abuse and rejection from parents. I fully support you for coming out, and I hope that your parents are accepting people. Also, you'll notice bullying at school ends up happening less. I've been called gay since 3rd grade, but now that I'm bi it isn't much of an insult so bullies have to find new material to use.

I wrote my parents a lengthy email.. I sort of regret it, I wish I had just said "Oh by the way, not that it matters, but all that stuff you've been saying about me growing up to marry a nice guy? Yeah not happening. I'll try and marry a nice girl though." and then walk out of the room like tata for now. You could do that or bake a cake that says "I'm gay" on it. Or you could learn how to say it ib all these different languages and keep bugging your family by saying I'm gay in all these languages and finally spell it out and tell them to google translate it.
