I'm 13 and I have a lot of armpit hair for some reason. I find this really embarrassing especially in swimming classes in school. I just wanted to ask you guys do you shave your hair under your arms and if that is normal for guys my age.
Thanks

I don't shave mine. If you feel uncomfortable about it then shave it, some people do, so you won't be on your own.

Yeah I'm the only guy on my whole class who has hair there but the problem is that I'm forced to swim cause it's part of school :(

I would imagine that's embarassing.. But y'know you could always think your just more mature and grown up than the rest of them! Although i have trouble thinking that myself.. :( I suggest you just don't pay any attention to anything they say if they mention it and if they do just be like, "I'm growing up. You'll get it soon enough."

I wouldn't say shave it because the next time you go swimming people might notice, it would be a good idea to just trim it.

I'm pretty hairy down there to and my height is increasing pretty fast so I think I've just hit puberty. I've thought about trimming but I have one question about that. I've heard that when you shave or trim the hair grows back faster and thicker. Is that true? Thanks for the help.

I don't shave mine because I don't feel embarrassed by it but if you are don't forget lot's of swimmers shave theirs to be more aerodynamic so it's okay to shave if you want to

Not true. It grows the same. No faster or slower.
People say that bcuz when they start shaving its usually thin and sparse cuz theyre young. As u grow older, its just natural it grows in different.
No worries dude. Good luckĄ

Yes...exactly. I didn't have none at 13..was dying to get them. If I was you I would be shirtless all the time and show off. If your friends say something you should be happy...means there jealous.

I say don't shave it, you'll be ridiculed more if you do than if you don't. I had full adult armpit hair by the time I was 9 years old so I understand what it's like.

I don't really see how it would be an issue for me. I am fine with the hair.

I'm 14 and just got my first little bit of armpit hair, not much but enough to bother me as I find armpit hair absolutely disgusting. My only solution is to make sure my sleeves are long enough to keep everything covered, not to raise my arms up too far, and I wear underarmour when swimming

shame on the people saying he shouldn't shave. You should if you want to, nothing wrong with that either. If you don't like it, you should just shave it, it really is completely a personal preference.

Honestly, at school, who cares. It means you're more of a man then they are. It just means you're further than other guys at school in puberty.

no, why be embarrassed. It just means you hit puberty earlier, ill bet your penis is bigger than there's right now too.

One kid I get changed next to in the changing rooms is in awe as he doesn't have any underarm hair yet (or didn't at the beginning of the summer holidays anyway). He's looked, stared, commented and touched and all the time we were in a changing room with 35 boys.
i show it off and suggest you do too :)

It's fine. I didn't get mine till I was like, 15 or 16 years old! We all grow at different rates, you may just be slow when it comes to armpit hair like I was. I have a friend who's 14 (I know, he's a bit young, but I met him through his parents cause I was so close with his mom, his family is like apart of my family) and he has a ton of armpit hair, like, he has the amount a 30 year old would have. Yet I still don't have much armpit hair.

I used to not shave. Then I started to shave. Some people do it, some don't no one really makes fun of you weather you do or don't.

It's perfectly normal. I was the same way. And, to tell the truth, I liked the way it looked. There were some guys in my grade that had more than me, and it looked good to me.
