Dude, don't listen to them. They just can't appreciate it. It takes a lot to really listen to classical music, especially of the Baroque era, like Bach, but it's totally worth it. I love classical music. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have my passion for music. I started learning music with piano (still play it), then violin (still play it), then guitar I dabbled in a bit of classical to start. I really like classical music. I'm also learning how to compose and starting with classical forms. Don't listen to what they say. Classical music is just as good as modern music.

I like Classical and Opera, if that counts as part of Classical, I love it and try to sing with it, if it has words, I may sound like a dying animal or weird when I sing it but what the hey I love it, it's relaxing

I love classical, but I tend to listen to like.. electric strings and stuff like that. Electric string quartets. But when I'm at home, I keep classical music on, it's so much greater and more complex than any pop stuff or whatever.

My favourite composers are Tchaikovsky, Gershwin, and Rossini. ^^

Yes, I listen to classical music. I find it extremely relaxing and inspirational. When I write I can't listen to something else. I also like Jazz (only the ones where they don't use their voices). For example, nothing calms me down better than Glenn Miller's "In the mood". So don't listen to what others say, because listening to classical music puts you higher than others. Everyone can understand the essence of the lyrics of a song; understanding the essence of a wordless song-that is when you truly discover music.

It is the ''mother'' of all music you hear today and in live the ''feeling'' you get from a well played & conducted classical concert of one of your favorite pieces... Well its just something else :)
