How long did it take for your employer to get back with you after applying?

They never message you unless they're desperate. You have to remind them that you want the job daily. It may seem obnoxious. But unless they straight out deny you, the persistence will pay off and eventually they will invite you in for an interview.

It depends. If it were me, I'd give it maybe 2, even 3, weeks. During that time, you might want to follow up with the employer. Let them know you are interested. But it all depends. All employers are different. Some will contact you within the same week and other may take more time. Actually, most employers won't even contact you at all if you don't get the job.

Also, I would NOT contact them daily. Being persistent is one thing, but that is a whole different level. Call them, let them know you are checking in about the job, and leave it at that. They know you called and they know you are interested. If they want you to have the job, they will call you in for an interview. But like I said, do NOT contact them every single day.

Between 1 week - 1 month they keep the application. So anytime, if they are looking.

Went in, filled the application, went to the swimsuit section and all of the sudden I got a call from the manager asking me if i was around and available for the interview.

Apparently she walk behind me when I was filling the application form, went into her office and printed the application. Then proceeded to call me. Three days later I got the call saying the job was mine.
