Hey...I'm [CENSORED] from school. Sorry if I creeped you out. I just wanted to tell you that I love you. I have ever since grade 6. Can't write any more because of limit, pls accept.

My God man...that's the most sudden thing you could say out of your mouth or over the internet... I advise against that entire message altogether.

Now as far as actually telling her this WITHOUT her having a look of "holy shit" on her face for the next month, how about you give us a bit of background first?

sorry, it was my first time asking a person out over skype. and since there is a word limit, i had to make it brief. background of what? me? her? If she knows that I like her?

A few questions for you.

One: Why over Skype? Long distance?

Two: You mind giving a bit of background on both of you, and what you both know about each other's feelings?

One: I don't have her number. I was gonna ask her out at school but never got the chance.

Two: She knows that I like her. im not sure if she likes me. I'm not sure if this is a sign but we had to write stuff about what to be remembered for in school (boring as hell) and then i noticed that my crush wrote something that my shirt said on the board. she looked back at me then wrote something and then later i noticed. other than that, no sign.

Ok. That helps.

Now about the original message: scrap it. Honestly if I were a girl and in her shoes, I'd consider writing a restraining order. (Or at the very least be shocked and distanced for a good while.)

Love is a pretty strong word, mate. And not one that most would use over a non-physical environment such as Skype.

Now, if you know her pretty well, then simply giving your information to her over Skype or e-mail, having her contact you through THAT less limited option, and then asking her to hang out shouldn't cause any harm.

Thanks. Problem is, I'm not sure if it is her. I got my friend to ask one of my crush's friend for her skype name. What if its just some random person?

Just ask for confirmation that it's the correct girl. I doubt there's reason for the other to lie.

What exactly should I say?

The idea of asking her over on skype itself is ridiculous, it shows lack of confidence. If you are going to do it then do it in person. Plus, do not be to spontaneous. Saying "hey, I love you" is not the way to go.

I can't ask her in real life unless I get her address. (That would be very creepy, so no)

"Hey (Girl's name),

This is Kyle, from school. Sorry for not asking before school let out, but would it be cool if we could talk to each other? Here's my number. (Number)

Thanks, talk to you later.

That's a bit primitive, but you can tweak it a bit for length and content.

This looks great. I support this.
