Well being a guy obviously i have no idea what it is like but mostly in my life i have women, Which can be horrid sometimes because of periods!
So what is it that makes you girls a completely different person and not for the best reason?
Like my mum this morning, All i did was sit downstairs, She bitched me out for a good 5 minutes and made me feel like crap when all i did was wake up and sit down! And my other friend Kelsey, When she was on, She bitched me out too and it led to one of our worse arguments yet :/
So is there a way to deal with it as well? Because I'd like more than anything not to be bitched out any more just because of something a girl can't control that makes me want to cry.

Im not a girl, but

Every girl is different, and never talk nor get any girl angry when shes on her period. And yes, girls do make a big deal out of it because they are bleeding out an egg. And no, there is no way to deal with that in that situation, just walk away.

On a sidenote, your 17... Dont they teach you this in school? My school thought us this like in 6th grade.

they will affect different women differently...mine are almost non existant no cramping really and very light flow...the mood swings come from the hormones going all wonky...most get crabby..some..like me...get a lot easier turned on / horny

Well, considering we're bleeding out of a vagina constantly for days with the added in cramps, cravings for weird as fuck food, and the constant emotional roller-coaster, we are going to have mood swings. In girls there's this thing called the bitch switch, we all have one, when you flip it and a girl is on their period you are going to be fucked. You need to take what girls say when they're on their period with a grain of salt because if you start getting offended by it, it's ridiculous. We can't stop it. Sure, some girls aren't that bad but you will come across them. The best thing to do is stay well away when you know someone is on their period, or give them chocolate. We like chocolate.

or give them chocolate. We like chocolate.

Doesn't everyone? Or almost everyone.

I have had regular periods for about a year now, and though I get bad cramps and flow, not very many mood swings. Or at least I control them well. Chocolate actually does help. It tastes 10x better when menstruating then when it does normally. And heals it. There is a real physical craving for it.

As stated -- each female is different and typically it's the hormonal change that can create issues. Try to apologize and give them space if it's bugging you too much.
