Are there any games out there that have a play style that would would work almost perfectly with another franchise or game?

For instance, Oblivion and Fallout (New Vegas and 3)
The overall exploration mechanics are identical and both franchises are incredibly detailed down to the lives of random NPCs.

One game that I absolutely love is Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. The fighting in it works almost perfectly. It has its flaws, but it's the best style for a game and franchise like that.

Imagine that combat and organization in a game based on the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" universe. I can see no way that's more perfect for that franchise.

What mechanics would you like to see transferred into another game?

I would probably say the mechanics of Bionic Commando Rearmed in the Castlevania franchise. Seriously, using your Belmont whip to move from place to place and grabbing on to ledges is something that Castlevania would benefit from.

The mechanics of Tekken need to be mixed with the Saint Seiya franchise in what would be the best fighting game ever. It would be epic.

this would be the ultamite shooter game:
You have a team commander, who never goes first person. He just has a map and he tells where the players need to go. he can tell a medic to go to a place and so forth. the can call in support.
Then you have the teams, large, like planetside 2 large, who are the soilders.
and then you have groups of mercs, who the commander can hire to take out enemy commanders, but the mercs can be killed by the players of the commander who hired them, unless the commander tells his troops not to.
