Yeah, I guess a cup would hide an erection, but keep in mind that most good cups are solid plastic, not expandable fabric like pants or underwear. While it may hide your erection, it will also cramp your expanded penis in and cause it to bend inside the cup.
If you've never had that happen, trust me, you don't want to try it! Serious ouch!

you can typically tell when someones wearing a cup, and getting erections in them not only hurts, but alos prevents them from working correctly, your erection takes all the room, and your balls have not place to go. (this hurts a lot if you get hit by a baseball while catching for a game)
