I know I am still a new member here and am thus not as reputable as a veteran, but I still ask that you hear me out.

The forum index... is huge. This is especially hard on someone with a slow computer such as myself; however, I'd still like to see all of the forums.

So, my suggestion is that there be a 'Member Forums and Diaries' forum, with all of the diaries and member forums identified as sub-forums for that forum. It would be more convenient for what I'm assuming to be a large portion of the members here; it would also make things much more pleasant aesthetically and technically.

Thank you for your time!

But the rest of us with fast computers and connections enjoy seeing everything all at once. What's a convenience to a few is an inconvenience to most.

And if you split the diary's off the activity on VT isn't anything like say Gov
so the diary's will really suffer

I understand what your saying (when i first joined i was on dial-up)
we've though of this a couple times before actually
My main concern is our inability to garuntee the same level of activity in them

You can press the little arrow at the top of that section and it will minimise it.

Yeah you can do what Andy said, or bookmark this link
http://virtualteen.org/forums/search.php?do=getnew

And it will show all the new threads in an organized list and you wont have to load the index.
