I'm of normal weight and height for my age which is 5"9 and 11 stone and im 15. i play a lot of sport and i would say im reasonably healthy. but lately i had a problem around my chest i felt out of breathe one night and had slight pains around the chest area so i went to hospital and they done tests and said everything was ok ...but i still dont feel 100% when i try and run i feel out of breathe very quickly im wonderin what factors this could be such as lack of fitness ...muscles around my chest developing ...ribs and chest growing i dont know it may be down to puberty im wondering do any of you guys ever experience this and get worried about it ...plese answer ;)

Has there been more pollution in the air lately? Sometimes a lot of pollution can make breathing more difficult.

It could be to the fact that when you exercise in the cold, it could be straining the lungs. If not you could just be loosing your rhythm.

Actually I had chest pains when I was 12 also. I went to the emergency room one time and they did a billion tests on me and they told me that nothing was wrong. I had those pains for about a year or a little less and they went away. I dont think that its a medical problem per say but I do know that I had them and no im perfectly healthy. Just monitor it and try to deal with it. If you think its too much go back to the doctor but there isnt much they can do...
