I've always liked the look of necklaces on guys i think they're pretty cool and sexy! Lol! But I never had the confidence to wear them. Anyway I want to start wearing a necklace now and I've got a couple of questions for guys who have worn them for a while. I've always liked the look of a thick silver chain that's pretty short, like it goes around the bottom of your neck. I like how it can be seen with any shirt on. How does everyone feel about that look? And also how long will it take to get used to wearing it? When I've put a friend's chain on its felt a bit uncomfy so I want it to feel comfy quickly. Thanks.

Wear whatever you want. Nobody's opinion should matter.

personally I like something basic like a chain or a small pendant...avoid pearls ;) (Unless that's what you want to wear and then to hell with what anyone says :) )

That sounds cool, and you just have to wear it for a few days to get comfy. Then you won't notice it's there.

I like those simple necklaces with guys, not one of those creative, colorful, shiny things (don't like those anyway)

have a very thin gold necklace with an Irish religious pendant, St Brigid's cross. so light i don't realize i'm wearing it, and just long enough that when wearing a collar shirt you cant see it when the buttons are open

It won't be uncomfortable unless its a smaller size, try to get a chain that will comfortably fit around your neck :)

Wearing a necklace is perfectly fine although I would clearly avoid those bling bling stuff like you see from rap videos nowadays.

the chain necklace sounds pretty cool as long as it's the type with a pendant. maybe it felt uncomfortable to wear for you because you've probably never really worn a necklace before since you're a boy but after a while, you won't be able to notice that it's even on you. if it doesn't feel uncomfortable on you then you should switch to maybe a necklace that has a cord on it instead. oh and btw, is your skin sensitive? because if it is, you might wanna consider getting a gold chain instead of a silver one because when i wore a silver chain for days and i would sweat, about a few days later, it caused a rash on my neck because of the type of chain. so, i switched to a gold one and the rash eventually went away because the chain didn't make it worse.
yep, that's all :)

I used to wear tons of necklaces, but I stopped for a while. Now I'm considering getting a miraculous medal, because I'm Catholic. It's nice, gold, represents what I believe in, and it's pretty lightweight.

I'm the same way, I really like puka shell necklaces and have five myself that my great grandpa got but never wear them because I was raised with a stereotype and have a hard time getting that thought out of my mind.
