So I just wanna list things that I wish people would've told me before I started self harm.
1. That it starts out with a scratch, but ends in the ER
2. You always have to hide wherever you cut, whether it be always wearing jeans or bracelets or long sleeved shirts or shorts or a tank top instead of a bikini when swimming.
3. You think you can contain it to one part of your body, but eventually you run out of space.
4. The slightest things will make you want to cut.
5. If people see the cuts, it's endless questioning and judging.
6. It IS addicting, like a drug. You start out with very little, but soon it isn't enough. You'll need more and more, and you'll start doing it every day if you don't get help.
7. It's harder to stop than it is to start. (I thought it'd be the easiest thing ever like "oh I'll just throw away my blades and matches!" but that's almost impossible.)
Yup that's just my two cents.
