alcohol can damage brain cells which makes it harder to learn, and especially affects the developing teenage mind

I can't think of any other effects, but I know that there are probably more.

I dont think it affects puberty as much but just like smoking can stunt your growth im sure other drugs can stunt you physically. We already know that alcohol affects your growth mentally..

L O L!!!!!!!!! (Another true classic for the 'Hall of Fame').

I always want to respond to these alcohol and puberty questions by (lying) and saying, 'Yes, alcohol makes your penis shrivel up and fall off!'. But I can't really lie, it's not in me. Eventhough it's what you're really asking, right?

Excessive alcohol consumption can have some health effects during adolescence, especially if you drink a lot, frequently. Alcohol in large amounts (i.e. enough to get you drunk) is actually a poison, which isn't obviously a good thing for you. And, it can interfere with all that growing and stuff you're body is doing now, it changes your metabolism, so it's unwise to drink excessively.

The problem with drinking now isn't just what might happen to that beloved penis of yours, but rather what will happen tomorrow. The stuff you do today, both good and bad, accumulates in your body, and affects you in years to come. So, the habits you develop now, while not necessarily immediately harmful, can be very harmful over the years. So, adopting a healthy lifestyle, thinking about 'tomorrow' as well as what you want today is a good idea.
