Do your parents know?

I see all these post about people saying they sleep naked but do you tell your parents or do you do it behind their backs?

I don't really do it behind their back per say because its night and well, everyone is sleeping so who cares? By morning I have clothes on. But I haven't told them. My stepmom assumed one time I had no clothes on (but I did) and almost freaked out so I don't think I'll be telling them anytime soon.

lol, my parents know. My family is kind of open about things, so I didn't really feel weird telling them, also, I wanted to make sure that my mom is aware that I'm naked if she ever feels compelled to rip my covers off when I sleep till 2 pm on a Saturday.

Well, during the school year at least, my parents always wake me up, so sleeping naked and hiding it from them isn't exactly an option.
I choose to wear boxers when I sleep simply to avoid an awkward situation and dreaded conversation if/when I'm discovered naked and asleep! ;)

I know my being from a nudist household makes it hard for me to grasp this, by why on earth would parents care about their child being naked in bed? Are people really that uptight about nudity? I'm amazed some people can bring themselves to get naked for a shower or bath, if they fuss over being naked in bed.

i normally sleep naked now. my parents know that i used to sleep in nothing but boxers and they have came into my room early in the morning and i've hung my boxers over the radiator in plain sight. so i suppose they do know they've just never said anything.

I don't really know how one would create an opening for the topic of sleeping naked. I mean it would be an awkward conversation to say the least and even more so if they walked in on you while sleeping naked so yeah....

Lol I've pretty much been sleeping naked since I was 14 and by then I had a phone so I got myself up everyday walked naked to the bathroom and would be in the bathroom or in boxers/jeans by the time he got up. In the summer or weekends he'd be up and downstairs before I am so I get up and dress when I got up 3 hours later. I don't think my dad would've cared but my mom might of had a coniption if she hsd seen me lol.

I don't think my parents know but they don't come up to my room much and never when I'm asleep so it just hasn't come up. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

My parents know because they often come into my room to get me up early like for swim practice and in hot weather I don't sleep under a cover and neither do my two bros.

Same here. I'm not hiding how I sleep from anyone, it's just something I do in the privacy of my bedroom.

"behind their backs makes it sound like there is something "wrong" with it. I sneak out at night and drink behind my parents backs. I sleep naked but don't tell them about it. They don't need to know how i sleep lol. That said, nearly everybody in my family has woken me up at least once and found me naked at some point in the past 4-5 years. I don't tell them that's how I always sleep (which it is) I just say that i got hot and took off my clothes. It just seems like it saves a lengthy and potentially awkward discussion about something they really don't need to know about.

I've been sleeping naked for almost my whole life. Everyone in my family basically does it. It's no secret especially when a lot of the times I end up on top of my covers

A couple years ago I was at a sleep over at a friend's house and I slept naked in my sleeping bag. He apparently told his mom who then told my mom and she told me at home it doesn't matter, but if I'm sleeping anywhere else, I have to at least wear underwear. So my parents know I sleep naked sometimes and it's fine, except for that instance.
