I'm 14 in High school and in 3rd year, I have had 2 very good friends since the beginning. But recently they have been leaving me out, they are always talking in 'private'. And not telling me a lot of things and making plans to go out without me.They always sit next to each other and I sit myself. They are more confident and popular than me and I feel helpless. I feel that they don't care about me anymore, am I being paranoid. I don't want to lose these friends I love they but I don't understand what happened or what I did. Please help it is all I can think about and am so sad.

That's how my best friends got for a while, and it killed me. But it turned out that it was only me. All in my head. Just talk to them about it.

Could be this. Another possibility is that they could have formed a relationship with each other and are keeping it private for some reason, giving you the "third wheel" effect.
Either way, best way to see what's up is to talk to them.

I am actually going through this right now and this summer hasn't been the best due to the thoughts I have, well had. I agree with everyone else, you should talk to them, and if nothing changes then they weren't actually your friends. But do communicate with them and let them know exactly how you feel.

You should try talking to them about how you feel.

its really better talkting to them instead of imaging would all things could be. if they are your friends they would tell you the truth. if not you should think about getting rid of em.

Just talk to them about your thoughts! It might be just your idea.

Ask them about it. Being quiet about your feelings won't get you anywhere.

Ask them why they're acting like this. Confront them with your concerns.

Definitely talk to them. You never know maybe while you're thinking that they are going off by themselves they might be thinking that you're drifting away. If talking doesn't work then it might be time to move on.
