this is just a question. Have you ever moved or have you lived in the same place.
An answer for that could help me understand so i can help you. I have moved, so far, a total of 4 times, each time to another continent, so i know how to make friends.

yes i know that feeling. I have good friends but not that one special friend.

I was in the same position as yourself a couple years ago, I was very sheltered person though. Joining clubs that interested me helped.

The best way is to join a club and or sport! Or even open a blog or an internet story ANYTHING TO GET YOUR NAME OUT. I used to be exactly like you before I joined wrestling, now I have those friends I have as well as I have helped the younger freshman wrestling gain hope as I mentored them. Just join something you have interest in. The friends will come along the way

There are lots of people out there. It will shock you how many actually. So go out and just join a blob or find people with common interests.

You're not the first person who's said that, and not the first I've heard either. Like DanteZombie says, there are lots of people out there and also lots of people looking for friends or looking for a best friend. Those who have large social circles don't always have a best friend, so it's not impossible to find someone.

The tricky thing is finding someone who is "your best friend material". You won't always connect with and trust people on a level which enables you to be best friends.

There are so many ways to make a friend that it's not even funny. Just have to start talking. From there, trusting each other more just becomes almost a natural process.

Finding a really super close best friend may just be a matter of luck. I know for me, unless the person is untrustworthy, anyone who shows an interest in being my friend, usually becomes my friend eventually.
