Ok My jaw pops and such and it locks up too. Like I can be eating and I have to chew with the right side because if I chew food with my left then the right side of my jaw pops and locks up. It hurts when it locks...Does ANYONE know whats up?

You should get a doctor to see whats wrong.

i think i have that... except its pretty much gone now. Its probably caused by irritation to the main joint in the jaw. This means that if u chew A LOT or in a weird way, or if u excessively stretch your jaw a lot, then u can get this.

I dont think there is a 'cure' for this, but if u wait a while, it will get better. Continue chewing with the side thats best for u, and chew very softly. the more pressure thats put on the joint, the worse it can get.

I'm afraid so, at least until it gets better...

chiropractors are better at that stuff, they always ask you about your jaw whenever you go in, so i would say see them about it first, they could pretty much fix it or tell you how to avoid it happening . . . i still dont understand why people chew gum . . unless your anorexic and trying to supplement it as a meal i just dont get it, its like a bad habit but i dont know thats just me

it could be lock jaw or a form there of. i can open my mouth really big and actualy dislocate my jaw, its gotten stuck like that only once or twice. but i would say look into the symptoms of lock jaw
