Shorts length?

Hey guys,

Long shorts have been popular for guys for a while but recently many clothing brands have been putting out shorter length shorts for sale. American Eagle has long, classic, and prep (the shortest). Abercrombie, Hollister, and other stores do similar things.

What length shorts do you wear? And why?

I have been a fan of the knee length shorts, but recently bought a couple classic length (just above knee) and a prep short (an inch or two above knee). The prep has been difficult to adjust to because more of my thighs are exposed than what I've been used to.

about 90% of my shorts are just above the knee. do occasionally wear running shorts, and some real short cut-offs that my dad had from the 70's (those are really short)

i never wear shorts that go below the knee, it looks weird and feels uncomfortable. just above the knee is the best length.

I wear right below the knee and kinda at the knee so you really can't tell if its above or below, depends on your position!

I like the shorts that reach to my ankles. Although, most people usually call them pants.

It depends. If I dress in a more athletic style, I wear athletic type shorts that get a few inches above the knee with compression shorts underneath. However, my casual shorts are a bit longer, getting just above the knee.

I wear knee length shorts. Those are comfortable with me. But I do wear shorter shorts too after having clean shaved legs.

Definitely not below the knee, mostly half way dow to knee but am thinkg of asking parents for a pair that are a little shorter still.

I normally wear shorts that end an inch or so beneath the knee, because according to society I have hairy knees, so I hide them. I don't like my legs anyway, so the longer the better.

All of my shorts either go above my knee, any shorter and I don't feel comfortable most cause you'll see my tan line.

mostly half way dow to knee with Briefs under 'em . cos with shorts boxers are out.... I am worried shomone will see my stuff and butt thro the loose leg opening of my shorts......really it happens.

I'm really tall, so I buy the longer length shorts(11.5-12.5 inch inseam) and they usually hit just above my knee if worn at my hips, I usually sag a bit so they hit right in the middle of the knee where I like them.
